The Post-Graduate Volunteer Fair invites students interested in full-time post-graduate service opportunities to interact with representatives from 40+ non-profit service organizations to consider possibilities to be a person for and with others.

Full Description:
Are you interested in exploring future career options? Living in community? Striking out on your own and trying something completely new and different? Volunteering provides many once in a lifetime opportunities... Not to mention that loans can be deferred, educational awards are available, and basic needs like housing and health insurance are covered. What a great way to explore the working world after college and give back at the same time!

The Post-Graduate Volunteer Fair will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 4:00-6:00 PM in the Cintas Center Duff Banquet Room. Representatives from over 30 nonprofit agencies and organizations gather on Xavier's campus to meet and talk with students. It is an opportunity for students to become familiar with the varied experiences and benefits each organization has to offer. The Fair is sponsored by the Dorothy Day Center for Faith and Justice in collaboration with the Career Development Office.

A wide variety of organizations offering a broad spectrum of experiences will be present at the Fair. Are you interested in environmental work? Urban education? Rural development? Working in California, Cincinnati, Belize or many places in between and beyond? Organizations that can place you in any of these lines of work in all of these locations and more will be at the Fair!
